Lamorinda Home Expo '12

We just signed up for the first Lamorinda Home Expo that will be held on Saturday, January 28, in Lafayette. The Home Expo ’12 will feature local companies that are established in the Lamorinda region and we are truly excited to be participating in this inaugural event. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Lafayette Events Center (formerly the Veterans Memorial Building) will be buzzing with speakers, workshops, seminars and kids activities. You will be able to personally ask professionals your most burning questions and see what’s new in products and services. And, the event is free to the public.

We will be there to answer questions and share our ideas, and hopefully we will see you there.

Chris Avant , Jeremy Fisher, Raul Ruiz and senior designer, Veronika Rathert were part of the exceptional green renovation team that designed and re-built the Gottfried Regenerative home. The Oakland home scored a record 106.5 points, far surpassing the 80 that were required for the highest level, platinum, thus making it “the greenest private home in America.“

Canyon Design Build, formerly Federal Building Company, today announced that it has changed its name to Canyon Design Build effective February 15, 2010. The Company’s new name reflects the increasing breadth and scope of its new parent company, Canyon Construction (www.canyonconstruction.com) and the value-added Design Build services it provides to East Bay residential customers.
