Whole Home Modernization – Alamo

Our Alamo, CA clients came to Canyon Design Build with a clear vision to modernize their entire home, maximize natural light, and emphasize the soaring ceilings that define the space. To achieve that, we removed walls between the family room, kitchen, and dining areas to create an open, connected floor plan. Completely refreshed finishes throughout, including updated lighting and new hardwood flooring, bring a cohesive feel to every room. Upgraded skylights in the kitchen, living, and family rooms, along with new windows throughout, flood the home with natural light and strengthen the indoor-outdoor connection. 

The kitchen became a bright, inviting centerpiece with a wide-plank butcher-block island and seamless flow into the dining area. Bathrooms on every level, including the half bath, basement bath, and poolside bath, were fully renovated for comfort and cohesion, while the primary suite was transformed with a spa-inspired bathroom remodel. 

Behind the walls, upgraded electrical, plumbing, and a new HVAC system deliver modern performance, and a refurbished exterior deck extends living space outdoors. The result is a bright, open home that feels contemporary yet timeless, designed around natural light, thoughtful flow, and elevated finishes.
