Swiss Alpine Retreat – Orinda 

Our client approached us with a highly detailed vision to upgrade their property into an authentic Swiss Alpine-style retreat. In the main home, we remodeled the kitchen, solarium, entertainment areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and transitions, leaving no detail untouched. The guest cottage was also fully upgraded with living amenities. The interior aesthetic blends comfort with genre-specific character—like the deep blue kitchen range and the primary suite’s tub set into natural spillover rocks with integrated drainage below. 

Outdoors, we added a kitchen, dining, and entertaining space, renovated the pool area, and completed custom hardscaping including the entry gate. One of the most extensive aspects of the project was the handcrafted exterior woodwork. We built custom trellises, a bridge, stairways, Ipe decks, and railings featuring traditional Alpine details: scalloped edges, carved balusters, and substantial framing. The craftsmanship and complexity of these elements made it both a creative and technical challenge. 

Today, the home is a neighborhood favorite known for its beauty, precision, and distinctive style.
