Historic Residence Revival – Alameda

Our client wanted to create a home with more usable space and that welcomed in the natural light. They also wanted to maintain the historical nature and architectural detail of the home. The details in each room were carefully considered, starting with the chef’s kitchen where the industrial stove and hood complement the cozy shaker door cabinets. The scale of the house allowed us to treat each space as a unique experience while creating a cohesive project. In the dining room we worked with an experimental textured wall covering that complemented the historic nature of the home. We modernized the bathroom in a style that is appropriate to the home.
