This ADU was created for a family in Corte Madera, CA who wanted an independent living space for an aging parent. The residence includes a full kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom, all designed with privacy, accessibility, and ease in mind. 

Vaulted ceilings create a sense of space, and tall windows flood the home with natural light. Colorful textiles and inspired details reflect the family's style, all while paired with efficient appliances. Outside, the ADU is thoughtfully nestled into the existing landscaping to feel like a seamless extension of the home. 

A shared deck connects the two households, creating a space where family can gather easily while still honoring independence. Every detail was chosen to make daily living feel simple, beautiful, and connected.
