Pool House ADU – Lafayette

Our clients turned to Canyon Design Build to transform their outdated pool area into a refined oasis for both daily living and effortless entertaining. The completely new structure opens to a generous floor plan for living and dining, anchored by large sliding doors that invite the outdoors in. We oriented the design to create a true sense of arrival, with distinct entry points that guide guests naturally from space to space. The result is an intuitive layout that supports gatherings of all kinds, from casual afternoons to hosted events. 

Inside, the pool house includes a full kitchen with a pass-through bar that’s perfect for serving, a guest suite with a luxurious en-suite bath, and a dedicated pool bathroom with indoor-outdoor access and laundry. The exterior shower adds a retreat-like finishing touch. We also renovated the pool terrace and refurbished the pool itself, adding a new baja shelf for relaxed lounging. Together, the pool house and terrace offer a seamless blend of design and functionality—perfectly suited to the property’s sweeping views.
