California Living – Orinda

This Orinda home represents one of Canyon Design Build’s most holistic projects to date. From the earliest design sketches to the final coat of paint, our team shaped every interior detail, creating a property that embodies modern California living.

Expansive glass walls fill the home with natural light, blurring the line between indoors and out. The open-plan living and dining areas balance warmth and sophistication with organic textures, custom millwork, and curated lighting that accentuates the home’s clean geometry.

The kitchen is anchored by striking marble countertops and natural wood floors that extend through folding glass doors to the outdoor entertaining area. A covered pavilion with a stone fireplace and poolside seating creates a year-round gathering space that feels effortlessly connected to the landscape.

In the primary suite, serene finishes and floor-to-ceiling windows frame the natural surroundings, while the spa-inspired bath combines wood, stone, and glass to evoke calm and luxury.

Every element was thoughtfully selected to create continuity across the property. The result is a refined, inviting home that celebrates craftsmanship, connection, and the California lifestyle.
